Before stepping into the corporate world a student must undergo a summer internship, so for the purpose of equip ting students in a well recognized company. ICL Institute of Management and Technology invited HDFC Standard Life on 5th May who along with preparing the students for today also provide them with the stimulating environment for tomorrow as well. Varun Aggarwal, Branch Manager Ambala addressed the students, he started with presentation, where they briefed the managers about of jobs required to be performed by them. After clearing a sequels of group discussion and personal interview the under mentioned students got selected.

On 4th May 2009 AIESEC visited our campus for summer internship of management students. AIESEC is a global, non political, independent, non profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin. One of the AIESEC’s great strengths is its ability to bring together young people and partner organizations from all over the world through exchange, conferences, and virtual tools. They briefed on Global Exchange Programme, where they interact with industry,government, NGO’s Universities for Innovative Development Program. They shared the benefit of taking International Trainee as that gives International knowledge and perspective, linguistic abilities, multicultural work environment.

ICL Group of Colleges invited the renowned companies to the college campus to give appropriate chance to get selected in a company where they can get encouraging environment and better education for the professional growth, on 29-April-2009 ICL campus had a privilege to have Mr. Manish Girdhar North State Head from Mahindra Finance, team presented a presentation to brief about the organization then conducted a series of group discussions and personal interviews and finally selected 10 young managers to get the experience of working in their esteemed association.And these were Aprajit, Dheeraj, Bhupinder, Lalita, Menakshi, Rajesh, Yashpal, Amarjeet, Mukesh, and Muneesh.

This was a cause of celebration for the budding manager along with the birthday bells for young manager Aman. In the festive mood promising managers were blessed by the management and faculty members and to rejoice selections future managers collected the best wishes from the team mate for the future endeavors.

2nd day of the Campus Placement week went on very smoothly at ICL Hi Tech Group of Colleges arranged for promising managers of ICL Institute of Management and Technology of second semester who have to under go summer training of 6 to 8 weeks under reputed business houses. This event aimed to give appropriate opportunity to the budding managers of ICL to show and prove their talent in the corporate world
ICL Group of Colleges invited the renowned A class companies to the college campus to give appropriate chance to get selected in a company where they can get conducive environment and better learning for the professional growth .INDIABULLS and RELIANCE CAPITAL were the companies who conducted the interviews on the first day and selected total 15 students. Mr. Goldy Aggarwal, Sr. Vice President & Mr. Rahul Gupta, Associate Vice President from Indiabulls and Mr. Rajesh Rana , Branch Manager from Reliance Capital Services came over to the ICL campus for the selection process. On the second day of the event Mr Amit Gandhi , Associate Partner and Mr Bhuvnesh Kaushal , Manager Sales from MAX NEWYORK LIFE INSURANCE came over to interview the talented managers to select them for summer training.
The company representatives were welcomed at the seminar hall by Prof. Sarvjit Kaur Director HR. She introduced the core team to the students and detailed the scheduled selection procedure to the promising managers.
The event began with the Power Point Presentation of the company for the students to know the details followed by the Personal Interview of the budding managers. Selection procedure also included the group discussion to judge the team sprit among the candidates.
Total 15 potential managers were chosen for summer placements finally 8( Ajay Saini, Amandeep Singh, Swati Bansal, Survir Singh, Ashima, Ankur, Manish and Shivam) for the Indiabulls and 7 (Sunny, Ankit , Sandeep, Nikhil, Sumit, Ashish and Rahul)for the Reliance Capital by the selection teams of the respective companies.
Vote of thanks was given by the Brig N. P Sharma, Director General of ICL Group of Colleges Er. Sanjeev Chadha, President, ICL Group of Colleges congratulated the brilliant managers of ICL Institute of Management and Technology, he also gave his best wishes to all the prospective managers for their future endeavors.
