Our classroom with Wi-fi Internet access has lot of benefits. Classroom with Wi-Fi facility would be like "telling students that to take a class, you have to walk from the last century to the next century."
Our classroom with Wi-Fi facility is the class room of the future which replaces crumpled notes; and, a student response system is a learning technology with potential applicability in classrooms. This technology in our college is designed to provide interactive communications between individual student and the teacher in a class.
Wireless / WiFi based our classrooms are currently covered by wireless student networking, using the 802.11b/g campus-wide standard. General purpose classrooms are designed to support the requirements of a broad range of departments.
The projection capable, our classroom is a proven, reliable and faculty-friendly system that meets the requirements of faculty and the students. This standard includes a fixed data projector, laptop interface, easy-to-operate control system, various input devices, and add-on modules for special requirements. This add-on modular flexibility includes the ability to support future systems. Our Model Technology Classroom includes hardware, software, training and infrastructure all critical in providing the opportunity for effective teaching and learning process.
We have created a functional classroom environment with appropriate workstations. Rather than placing computer equipment on regular desks or on tables, classroom design utilizing adjustable workstations specifically constructed to accommodate computer equipment offers plentiful advantages for the user.
There is strategic placement of whiteboards and green boards. Since the invention of the green board, writing boards have been a primary means of educating large groups of students in the classroom and tutorials... The Convex whiteboard is praised for its innovative glare reduction design and is a popular product. that offers the benefit of reduced surface light distortion and also demonstrates improvement in contrast sensitivity and visual acuity to the human eye by three-fold.

Our tutorials have very comfortable and aesthetical structure for future managers and technocrats The students can discuss their difficulties, clear their doubts personally and know the solutions of their problems in an efficient way The unique feature is that our training sessions are in small batches for learning in interesting manner. The beautifully cushioned tutorial chairs are an additional pedagogical tool available with us to assess the effectiveness of the session. The tutorials are helpful in providing the opportunity for model technology and the environment is conducive to learning. Flexible tutorials design layouts contemporary education accommodates both individual learning and learning in small groups, ergonomics, as well as the student's sense of well-being Designing and arrangement of the things that a faculty or the students use is in the best systematic and in the safely manner. These human factors include desk factors; lighting and the boards are taken into consideration for reducing physical ailments, increasing productivity. and functionality also Tutorials have flexible seating arrangements, there is definite benefit to ensure that there are writing boards in locations that are easily viewed by students seated in different locations. This allows different teams to use boards close to their own location without disrupting other students in the room. It also reduces the necessity of students twisting in their seats and straining their necks to see different boards.

IT Facilities & Computer Labs

ICL Group of Colleges is equipped with hi-tech state of the art facility of IT Infrastructure keeping in view the development of students and faculty, spread in 23 acres at village Sountli near Shahzadpur.
The labs are centrally Air Conditioned with the State of the Art computers with latest configuration and Microsoft Legal Software under Microsoft Campus Agreement for all the necessary software and knowledge base for study, research and developments.
There are about more than 110 PCs connected with Gigabyte Network, Managed Layer 3 & Layer 2 Switches with campus backbone on fiber to connect all the labs with data centre equipped with 3 hi-end servers to ensure security and user management. Round the clock internet facility is available to in the campus with high speed Lease line connectivity of 512 kbps via RF link from reliance to be upgraded to 2 MBPS keeping in view the requirement of video conferencing and for smooth access to online resources like Video Lectures, emails and ftp login to every student and faculty member.
The complete campus is wi-fi to ensure that all the users can make maximum benefit of resources even while setting in the cafeteria or in the hostel to create a flexible learning environment that transcended the limitations of traditional, teacher-centered classroom.
A key component of this learning initiative is the use of laptops that enables the students to access the internet from various locations and initiate student-led collaborative sessions. Since most of the students are busy during the day in some other task, they can use the internet on their laptop through the Wireless Access Points. This is a new approach of learning for performing collaborative and constructivist learning models that encourages team work.

Laboratories

The latest and ultra modern equipments are installed in various laboratories of the ICL Institute of Engineering and Technology. The laboratories ofPhysics, Chemistry, Electronics, Electrical, Kinematics and Communication Skills are equipped as per the latest revised curriculum of Kurukshetra University for engineering disciplines.

The laboratories consist of ultra modern amenities for developing the error free working, logical thinking and critical analysis in the students. Our laboratories impart knowledge about basic principles, scientific processes and various phenomenons like natural or atomic in an effective way. The institute’s laboratories will provide the students the knowledge of basic science, designing, quality checking and switching efficaciously. The college laboratories help to study in an interesting manner. We have calibrated apparatus for performing error free experiments in all the laboratories, so that the students get the accurate results in an instance only. The laboratories will be helpful in teaching the concepts of engineering to the students in the best way.

Workshops

Workshop training is the foundation of engineering education. The workshops of ICL Institute of Engineering and Technology comprise Machine Shop, Foundry Shop, Fitting Shop, Welding Shop, Carpentry Shop and Smithy Shop. All the shops are spacious and well equipped to put vivid impression on the students. The machinery is adequate to accomplish the purpose of producing the intended or expected results for the students. The workshops at the college will help in learning design process and will provide desired understanding of the various other basic processes. The college workshops are having all the machines and equipments to learn while performing. The workshops have adequate apparatuses to deliver required knowledge to the students.
