Department of Computer Science & Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in ICLIET, with its cohesive team of faculty members, imparts education to B. Tech (Regular). Computer science & engineering is a major part of the information & communication technology sector, which is bringing evolutionary changes in our societies, entertainment system and industrial applications. The importance & spread of these technologies are on the rise, encompassing all aspects of human activities. Computer science engineering can design & develop applications as diverse as aircraft control system to high-tech play stations.

The department has qualified and experienced faculty members in the areas of Computer Architecture, Database Systems, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Wireless and Sensor Networks, Computer Networks, and Software Engineering.

Enough laboratory time is made available to the students for maximum utilization of the computing facilities. Our main strength is highly qualified & experienced faculty members, who are very enthusiastic in learning new technologies and updating their skill sets. Faculty members are always ready to guide students apart from regular teaching hours and maintaining the disciplined behavior in the departments.

In order to fulfill the objective of achieving academic excellence, the department is equipped with all infrastructure viz. Highly qualified teaching faculty, state-of-the-art computing facilities and 2 Mbps leased line for access to internet.

Computer science engineering graduates have excellent employment prospects and may be employed in computer design & development, IT infrastructure, defence applications, health care system, communication network internet development, job may include R & D, system management, image processing, tracking & surveillance, bio-medical engineering etc.
